RUBUS MARIONBERRY
Grower Notes:

Rubus fruticosus 'Marionberry hybrid berry' is commonly referred to as Marionberry or Marion Blackberry. It is one of the most popular blackberries worldwide! It is a common hybrid known as Marionberry that was introduced back in 1956. It is a cross between Chehalem and Olallie blackberries. It continues to remain a favorite featuring large, firm blackberries that have a sweet-tart flavor. It produces large clusters of small, purple-black fruits mid-season.

Marionberry blackberries thrive in full sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist, well-drained soils. They are delicious fresh or in pies, jams, tarts and preserves.
